The Authority Formula: 1×1×1 (One Niche, One Offer, One Funnel)

Business coach advocates radical focus: one niche, offer, and funnel.
Focused Power:
Authority comes from depth, not breadth of expertise.
If I had to start over, knowing what I know now, I’d follow just one simple formula: 1×1×1 (One Niche, One Offer, One Funnel) because the truth is, simple scales and fancy fails. Complexity kills growth, yet the biggest mistake entrepreneurs make is trying to do too much, too soon.
I learned this the hard way. At first, I was drowning in distractions—four different niches, five half-built offers, and a messy web of marketing funnels. I tried serving freelancers, affiliate marketers, coaches, and agency owners while offering courses, group coaching, masterminds, and done-for-you services. My marketing was equally chaotic—YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, email marketing, and webinars, all running with no strategy.
The result? Inconsistent income, unpredictable results, and constant stress. But worse than the financial struggle was the identity crisis. Without clear positioning, I couldn’t sell premium offers or establish authority. Some saw me as a “marketing guy,” others as a “business coach” but I was forgettable to most.
“You need to focus, Sahil!” my mentor told me bluntly. “You’re trying to be everything to everyone, and as a result, you’re nothing to nobody.” Those words stung, but they changed everything.
That night, I made a decision. I deleted a half-dozen products, archived unnecessary funnels, and simplified my business. I committed to helping coaches and consultants attract high-ticket clients using my Reverse Organic Marketing Framework. Suddenly, every content decision and message became crystal clear.
In less than a year, I hit six figures. By year four, I scaled to seven. Why? Because I went deeper, not wider. Authority isn’t built on breadth—it’s built on depth.

At Global Authority, we believe in the power of diverse voices and fresh perspectives. Whether you’re an industry expert, a passionate storyteller, or someone with a unique experience to share, your words can inspire, educate, and engage our readers.
1. One Niche—The Power of Saying “No”
Choosing one niche doesn’t limit you—it positions you. Early on, I thought serving more people meant making more money. In reality, it diluted my authority.
Why One Niche?
- Positions you as the go-to expert.
- Simplifies marketing and attracts ideal clients.
- Allows premium pricing as the specific solution provider.
How to Pick Your Niche
- Find the Sweet Spot: Where passion, skill, and profitability meet. (Example: I focused on coaches struggling to land high-ticket clients after mastering Reverse Organic Marketing.)
- Study the Market: Observe forums, competitors, and talk to people to uncover real pain points. (I found coaches' #1 struggle: “I’m stuck trading hours for fees.”)
- Test Before You Commit: Launch a small offer to validate demand. (My “5-Day Offers That Convert Challenge” sold out—proof of need.)
Pro Tip: Don’t just follow your passion - “Follow Your Talent.” Passion fades. Talent + demand builds long-term authority.
2. One Offer: The Signature Solution
“An expert with one clear offer will always outsell a generalist with five.”
Initially, I thought variety would bring more sales. Instead, it confused people. When I streamlined to a single high-ticket offer, conversions tripled.
Why One Offer?
- Eliminates confusion—people know what to buy.
- Builds authority—you become known for one thing.
- Easier to scale—refining one offer outperforms managing many.
How to Build a Winning Offer
- Solve a Painful Problem: Find what your audience fears but doesn’t voice. (Example: Coaches felt like commodities, so I focused on premium positioning.)
- Reverse-Engineer the Result: Build a clear, repeatable system for outcomes. (My framework wasn’t just tactics—it built authority and attracted inbound clients.)
- Test Small, Scale Smart: Launch a beta version. (My $297 program sold out in 72 hours, then scaled into a $25K/year mastermind.)
Pro Tip: Your first offer won’t be your best. But you have to start. Launch, refine, and grow from there.
3. One Funnel: Simplify to Amplify
Once you have one niche and one offer, create one simple funnel to attract clients. Let your system work for you.
Why One Funnel?
- Turns randomness into a predictable system.
- Makes it easy to track and improve.
- Ends shiny object syndrome—no more chasing trends.
The Simplest Funnel Formula
- Free Community Funnel—Offer a no-cost quick win (e.g., a private FB group with a pinned training like “How to Land Your First High-Ticket Client in 24 Hours”).
- Low-Ticket Funnel—Sell a small, valuable solution ($7–$97) (e.g., a 5-Day Challenge).
- Core Funnel—Deliver full transformation (e.g., a $5K coaching program with strategy, audits, and live support).

The 1x1x1 Formula in Action
Now it’s your turn to apply the formula:
- Niche Down Ruthlessly: Cross out everything except your best audience.
- Kill Your Babies: Let go of offers that don’t align within 30 days.
- Focus on One Funnel: Double down on what drives 80% of results.
When you’re the expert for a specific audience, no algorithm, recession, or competition can shake you. Authority isn’t built by adding more; it’s carved by cutting everything else. Less Is More.
